We use your information to provide you with Sweetalk, to allow you to communicate with other users, and to allow you to use the features of the Sweetalk open platform. We use your information to open an account for you, facilitate communication, provide support, allow you to access the features of Sweetalk, and to improve Sweetalk. Sweetalk uses the contact channels you provide (such as mobile phone numbers or email addresses) to verify and protect your account and for some important administrative purposes, and will not use these channels for promotional or marketing purposes.
We will not share your information with any third party, except when it is necessary to share information in order to provide services (for example, using SMS service providers for account verification; using map service providers for map services; using third-party service providers for audio and video calls; using third-party translation service providers for text and voice translation) or receiving instructions from courts, competent authorities or legal requirements. We will only use these third-party services to process or store your information for the purposes described in this policy. Any third party with whom we share user information (selected by us) must provide the same or equivalent level of user information protection as specified in this policy.

We process different categories of information and data when you provide Sweetalk. These categories are as follows:
"Location data" is information derived from your GPS, Wi-Fi, compass, accelerometer, IP address, or public posts containing location information. Location information will be disclosed to us, other users, or both at the following times:
When you use location-based features, such as "People Nearby", "Face-to-Face Translation" and "Remote Translation", and when you share your location with other Sweetalk users;
When you visit Sweetalk, we will obtain your location information through your IP address, device or Internet service to prevent multiple or fraudulent logins to your account.
"Log Data" is information we collect automatically when you use Sweetalk, through the use of web beacons, log files, scripts or ETags, and includes:
Device attributes, such as information about your mobile carrier, configuration information provided by your web browser or other program you use to access Sweetalk, your IP address, application ID and application name, and your device version and identification number;
Information about content you searched for or viewed using Sweetalk, such as web search terms used, social media profiles visited, and details of other information and content you accessed or requested while using Sweetalk;
General information about communications on the Platform, such as the identity of the user with whom you communicated and the time, date, and duration of the communications;
Metadata, which is information about the communications you make through Sweetalk, such as the date, time or location where a shared photo or video was taken or posted.
"Non-Personal Information" is any information that does not normally identify you, directly or indirectly.
"Personal Information" is any information or combination of information about you that can be used to identify you (directly or indirectly). We provide some examples of Personal Information (and how we collect it) in the "How We Use Your Information" section below.
"Shared Information" is information about or about you that you voluntarily share on Sweetalk. Shared Information may include content you post on Sweetalk (including public profiles, lists you create, and photos, videos, or audio recordings accessed through the camera and/or microphone sensors on your device with your prior consent), any content you repost that has been posted by others, and location data and log data associated with such posted content. Shared Information also includes information about you shared by others who are using Sweetalk (including location data and log data).
References to "Information" in this Privacy Policy include both Personal Information and Non-Personal Information.

By posting any sensitive personal information on Sweetalk, you consent to the provision of such information to those you have selected to control (for example, to the audience you have chosen to view your posts or profile information).
Sweetalk is not intended for children. Children under the age of 16 may not use Sweetalk for any purpose without first obtaining parental/guardian consent to this Privacy Policy (on behalf of the child and for himself). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 16 without such consent. If you believe that we hold any personal information from a child under the age of 16 without parental/guardian consent, please contact our Data Protection Officer and we will promptly investigate (and delete) such personal information.
We are committed to protecting the privacy and integrity of your personal information wherever it is stored. Our information security and access policies restrict access to and use of our systems and technology, and we protect data information through the use of technical protections such as encryption.
